20 years ago they said “I do” at one of Kansas City’s neatest hidden gems, The Simpson House. I remember crying as my dad gifted me a silver necklace during the ceremony. I remember spinning in circles over & over, just to see my white dress twirl.

I missed the moment.
The one I was asked to document, the one that was suppose to be looked back on for the rest of their lives.

I was invited to rehearsal, not giving much thought past the word “orchestra”

It’s been 8 months & 21 days since I last posted my work.

A long awaited hello from me, Taylor!

WELL. Here I am, building a new site, months have gone by & i’m still putting finishing touches on her.

Somewhere along the way I lost sight of the “why” - as do a lot of creative entrepreneurs do. I started working, sharing, + pursuing things I hoped would sell. Things that I thought “people” wanted.

It’s no secret owning a business is… challenging. Sometimes REAL challenging.

The past year has been exactly what I hoped. This space has become our second home, a space filled with creativity, connection & straight up - beauty. A space where the power of photography can FLY.

At 7 years old, I was gifted a little blue camera & never looked back.
